Tagaytay - Palace in the Sky - Casile - Nuvali Ride with Panasonic Friends

July 27, 2013

I got a message from Alvin that they are going up Cardiac Hill on the morning of July 27. Having been on mid shift, plus the fact that I arrived at 1 am, slept 30 minutes later, made me wake up at 7am. The group said, they were already at South Forbes, ready to go up Cardiac Hill. I dressed up and at 7:15 am, rushed out of the house. I met them at 8:30am at 'Bukohan'. I learned that majority of the group haven't been to Aling Pina's I suggested we go there to let them experience it.

ULPB CEAT Recon Ride

UPLB is a state university located in Southern Tagalog region province of Laguna. The foot of Mount Makiling serves as a laboratory/test bed of the various agro-industrial courses offered by the university. In the past 14 years living in Laguna, I was able to bicycle that way a couple of times. PCARRD - UPLB is my favorite route going inside the university complex. The PCARRD - UPLB road is a 5km winding route hugging Mt. Makiling. Boasting an elevation of around 150 meters above sea level, the route is lined with century old trees, covering you from the sun.
I did a reconnaissance ride to locate CEAT inside UPLB because on August 3, 2013, I will help send family friend to the UPCAT.

The Earth is so beautiful. PCARRD - UPLB road near BSP Jamboree

Gas is so precious to burn. The air too thin to pollute. Oxygen becoming scarce to share with hundreds of millions of internal combustion engines. Lets bike instead

Magnetic Anomaly in Nuvali

I was travelling along Nuvali Blvd, near coordinates 14.226073,121.057491 when I noticed my wireless speedometer stopped. There is a strong magnetic field that affects the speedometer's sensor or a strong RF field that blocks out the signal going to the speedometer's receiver unit. Whatever the case maybe, this is an interesting phenomenon worth investigating. Have you noticed this?

Mountainbiking and Instagram: Lethal Combo

Mountainbiking and Photography are one the rare instances where they mix and complement each other. I enjoy the moments where I get to visit places and take pictures, and publishing them in this blog.

No matter how many times I pass by this road, it never cease to amaze me

Mountainbikers become quiet as they ride the trails, because they are savoring the trail, as if communing and talking with Earth

Whenever the opportunity presents itself, I travel by bicycle, the world is too beautiful to pollute. Traveling slowly lets you commune with nature. Rediscover the sights and sounds that you cannot see or hear inside the confines of your car
